I can't remember where I first saw Berry's bird paintings, but I fell in love, immediately. I'd been hoping to find someone, who loves birds and paints them with the tenderness they deserve ~ and, in imaginative compositions. Berry is perfect. In a newly imagined, yet traditional style, she places birds and other objects in still life paintings, which stop us in our tracks. I love it when painters ask us to linger in front of their works, because we all need to slow down and enjoy our eyes ~ and what this lovely world has to show us. Feast your eyes on her work. Your eyes, and your Spirit, will thank you.
